Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav
Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav is the public celebration of the Lord Ganesha Festival. Bal Gangadhar Tilak, an Indian freedom fighter and social worker founded a publically celebrated Ganeshotsav festival in 1883 as a means of uniting people from diverse groups to enhance their sense of social belonging.
Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav is an integral part of Maharashtrian culture. This is the most awaited festival in India in general and Maharashtra in particular.
Ganeshotsav 2017
Ganpati Bappa is going to visit us soon and we are all very excited to bring to you another year of festivities. This year Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav will be celebrated on the 2nd and 3rd of September 2017, at the Ballroom Function Centre from 2pm to 9pm. We will welcome Bappa with great entusiasm, there will be cultural programs, mahaprasad and maha aarti. We would like to invite each and everyone of you to come and be a part of the celebrations.
